OK I just looked there are NO listed 1983 D DDR.

Hm...well it certainly has notches.

Perhaps? I sent 2 DDRs from the 1980s similar to this but more extreme, if they come back as new DDRs, I would certainly send yours in.

No hub doubling is present. So I feel this is from a normal die. The die state is pretty fresh. Note how clean the edges of the devices are and they are all full sized. (Look too close, even nothing can appear as something. Hub doubling must be seen with a 10X glass before it will strike an interest in a variety collector)
