spru Bedrock of the Community United States 12477 Posts	Posted 08/05/2020 02:42 am The obverse has a fair amount of chatter, but this is also zoomed in quite a bit due to the small size of the coin, so hardly any of this is noticeable with the naked eye. The reverse displays some nice luster. These little fish scales are really testing the limits of my old DSLR! So, before switching to nickel, these changed from .925 to .800 between 1919 and 1920, correct? I'm surprised silver was still being used at that point for the 5-cent coins.
