Hello all,

Several years ago when I inherited the collection I have, I searched on this penny and there seemed to be a modest premium on it or a variant of it (I think it was about $100). My recent searches don't seem to yield anything special. Could someone please let me know if I am missing something? (photos)

Thanks!

Bill

Canadian coin News Trends lists it at $5.50 in VG and $8.0 in F. No varieties are listed.
Plus it looks cleaned with a bit of corrosion. So I see little premium.

Agree. Clear evidence of cleaning.

Yep, there is no premium. It's less than a $10 coin.

Borsellino list 9 varieties with the rarest being the narrow dates. This one looks more like a wide date to me - not exceptionally rare.....

Still a nice coin for your collection.

What else do you have in Newfoundland coins?
