man am I stoked was talking to my dad today and he said he had a freind who had a few old dimes(five pounds worth)and he would probably let me sort through them. any way I go to this guys house and talk about the dimes. and he shows me this crown. said he picked it up in W.W.2. well I told him that I admired it and the hisory that he shared with it. asked if I could search through his dimes for him and he up and gives me the whole lot. well I must say I nearly soiled myself. and how was your day

There are people who have luck then there are people who do not.

I am one of the ones that do NOT

Congrats on your good fortune[:p]

I have a friend who owned his own jewelry store in town. One day a car with California plates drove up, and the occupants sold him about five pounds of silver dimes.

He allowed me to sort out several of my birth year (1942), but didn't invite me to search any further. So, since I did get five or six coins, I guess I was semi-lucky.
