Hi all! I recently acquired this 1867 Hong Kong Dollar and although it is has been roughly cleaned, it is quite a scarce coin. I noticed the "8" in the date looked a little funny. I can't tell if it's a repunched "8" or Machine Doubling, etc. I searched online and couldn't find any other examples. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

I don't think it's Machine Doubling, because I don't think Machine Doubling would affect only one feature (just one digit of the date) and not anything adjacent to it. But I am far from an expert on such things.
