Im curious what countries released a carded (or pouch or passport or whatever) of their currency in this year. Anybody know of a place that would have a list like that?

The Krause Standard Catalog of World Coins 1901-2000 will list all the coins issued in 1975.
BUT
I doubt they will make note of "carded (or pouch or passport or whatever)" packaging.

Krause will indicate whether there is a mint or proof set for that year, which would normally come in some sort of a package. But you would have to do the legwork yourself to make a list for all the countries that did it in 1975. This is an obscure area of interest which is not yet of mass interest. People have done lists of all coins issued in a particular year, but I have not heard of any of those people having a particular interest in the packaging.

And unfortunately, you will need to use the physical paper Krause catalogues, as the electronic versions available on NumisMaster and NGC don't have separate entries for the mint sets. I don't think third party sites like Numista or worldcoingallery list mint sets, either.

Grab yourself a second-hand copy of a 20th century Krause catalogue, if you don't already have one. It doesn't really matter how old it is, since you're just after the mint sets list, not the price guides.

If you need a rough indication, just type "1975 coin mint set" into Google, and see which countries come up.
