sheldius Pillar of the Community United States 1204 Posts	Posted 08/05/2020 10:03 pm The D on this 1944 looks like there is an S under it. compared to copper coins mint mark I think I've matched the die marker crack shown on copper coins (the bottom lower bust picture from copper coins). There might be the hair die marker as well, but it is worn there, and might just be my eyes. All my posted finds have been from this one bag. I'm up to 1944's and about half the pennies have been looked at under the microscope.
