Begin with Spain Maravedi / Maravedis about 1500's to 1800's.
Tell us the diameter for a better reply.

It is 1 inch in diameter

That size could make it a 4 maravedis, but one side is so bad it doesn't help us.

I would guess Charles IV(Carlos) 4 Maravedis

Though It could also be Carlos III. You should weigh it though it probably wont differentiate between the two.
