A good example of Die Deterioration (late die state), combined with a good dose of wear from long circulation.

In person there something behind the last 5, looks similar to a 3 and below the S in trust something is raised on the field.

The infamous "poorman's" DD is on the 1955 Philadelphia issue.

Most of those mid 50's cent were a mess. They should have been replaced long before they reached this state.
