Indian cent connoisseurs what are your takes on this coin. The more I study it the more I scratch my head. I think it may be kinda funny something seems off on rims, denticles, sharpness?

Was it wiped at some point? It's hard to tell from the photos--do you see the natural cartwheel luster?

Looks legitimate to me, but it does look like it's been cleaned and retoned.

The rim and denticals notably obverse appear cast, and bust seems over smooth for an AU58-MS62 1886 Indian. Coin is on ebay at auction.
I consider blurry photos on a high grade semi-key date a caution yellow flag, but this seller has impeccable ratings. End result for me is my skittishness in bidding.

Wouldn't think of buying this based on these pics. Tell us specifically what concerns you. I doubt this example is uncirculated.

tough call from the photos. the obverse is showing signs of circulation and the reverse looks low MS. I agree with coinfrog. i'd pass unless I could get better photos

Looks MS-63 BN and genuine. Might be AU-58 too. Light rub breaking some luster but might just be light handling not circulation.

Diamonds look weak, some feather tips look a bit worn. Not the best pictures, either. I'd say AU-55, maybe an old cleaning.
