Just took a nasty hit out in the wild, it's impossible to tell what caused this for sure, but whatever happened it didn't happen at the mint.

It's an odd hit for sure. The underside of the metal flap has metal spikes and I cannot figure out what would cause metal to fold like that. Guess we'll never know.Thanks for the input!

Probably put in a vise and held and then punched with a small flat screwdriver. Spendable. PSD
