Not a mint error..but a packaging error? Look at the rim of the nickel,it looks like the same pattern of the crimp that seals the package...but...the package is intact...what say you?

We see this now and again. It's not super rare for the crimping machine to nip a coin and leave the pattern. Kinda cool looking and most folks keep em as a curiosity.
