Piece of wood. Looks too small to be a broken toothpick?

Thanks coop. Would the local coin shop be able to get an idea if it's metal or wood? Should I try to remove it to see what it is or is it even worth keeping? I tried to see if a strong magnet would stick and it wouldn't.
