oldmike Pillar of the Community Canada 891 Posts	Posted 08/10/2020 11:06 am With the price of silver these days. My wife has a bunch of coins from her father she thinks she wants to sell, She has no interest in collecting and I'm into pennies and nickels. Mostly 50 cent from 40's and 50's some dollars . We are at least 5.5 hours from any coin shop so don't know where to start. any suggestions? thanks Report this Post to the Staff

As long as you are not talking about $1000s of silver, I would speak with them and mail them out. You might try Kijiji also. I recently sold a large lot of bulk silver at about 95% of spot, which is better than any professional buyer would pay. Report this Post to the Staff

There are a few varieties that Paul wrote about in the 61st edition from the forties , but not in to high a grade I would think. I'm no expert though. Report this Post to the Staff

Here on the edge of nowhere in BC there are three, hard to find, you have to ask around or scour the local ads online. One actually will match current J&M pricing.
