My new quarter eagle has arrived. The darker photos are the seller's photos and the rest are the shots I just took before my camera battery just died. But enough information is present, I hope, to play another round of....... you vs GNC!

If this is a sharp strike then
I think I can see a tiny amount of wear on the high points of Liberty's hair, and the eagle's feet, thus

This actually has a lot of luster and a very pronounced cartwheel effect. Some darken the photos so one can see the chatter easier because it's hard to grade gold. I'm going to let this go a couple more hours just to let the west coast people guess. I was able to see a handful of other photos before purchasing which I should've put into a folder. a spectrum of guesses so far.

Jeez, if this is a proof surface on an unmolested gold coin of this era, then no wonder I was never tempted.
