the 83(O) is a common coin. the coin is technically an AU coin however it has been moderately cleaned. since it is a common coin it really has no collector value and would be worth the silver content. at the current rate of about $27/oz its worth about $21

Nice coin. The 1883-O Morgan is my favorite date and mm combo of any US coin. My favorite design, historic and beautiful. 100 years before my birth. Obsolete mint mark. (Carson City is good too but out of my league price wise.
