I would say the it has FINE details. It's pitted, probably from being in the ground and someone tried to improve upon its looks by cleaning it. No matter what you say about it, it's a "CC" and that makes it way cool!

Fine details pitted. Worth probably $5-$10. I have a similar 1876-CC Dime that has light pitting, the result of being in the ground. Mine was found in the Carson City area.

I have no experience with metal detector finds. I guess this is my first.

Some of the letters in "liberty" are visible. There is "some" detail. It has full rims. I was wondering what the "pits" were, and a dig find makes a lot of sense. Even with its problems, I think it grades about...G4 or G6. Worth about 20 to 25 according to the latest COINValues. Oh, its a "cc" below. Thats obvious though.

looks like a salt water recovery coin.
