Hey all,

I think this is Struck Through Grease on the reverse as "Quarter" is almost completely missing.

But my real question is as a new collector how should I be thinking about these type of coins? Do they have any additional value?

I like them, so I'll probably keep them anyway, but would love your opinions.

Thanks,

-GB

I would say yes... Struck Through Grease. I don't collect those so it's a quarter to me. If you find the right collector of that type of damage, they may pay 5 to 10 bucks.

It's a very nice Greaser, I would recommend putting into a 2x2 for protection

This maybe a struck through paper/grease strike through issue. Too bad it wasn't in your hands first. It would have been a nice looking error then.

@coop Yeah it's been knocked around, still a keeper in my book though. Especially for a newbie like me :)
