Hello all, I have a 1908 S Philippines Peso that definitely looks like RPM, but does not match up with the Allen 17.04a variety. I know that every mint has their "off years " and that many dates and denominations can have dozens of minor varieties. This particular coin looks to definitely be S/S, but also appears to possibly have more than one repunch (S/S/S or more?). There is an apparent partial repunch at the bottom of the S, slightly East of the main impression that, from the lines extending E and W, were incompletely polished off. These lines are also seen above the MM. Please forgive some (or all) of the photos. I have been experimenting with some new ebay clip on "macro" lenses for my J7, and while they seem better than the cheap 2mp usb microscope, it's still hit or miss. Thanks for reading.
