2020 Salt River Bay Quarter

Pulled directly from a BU roll,this new Salt River bay quarter has some odd discoloring on the obverse. Inhand the surface shows normal luster but displays a greenish rainbow color. I would normally say environmental dmg,but knowing the origin of it has me bumfuzzled.Not sure what would cause this besides maybe the planchet wash they use on the coin...but you would think it would be on both sides. Anyone have input on this

Looks like stock discoloration. No premium for this. More an an issue for the coin, rather than a premium for the coin.

Exposure to some form of environmental agent, it would seem. First two photos suggest some luster. Last photo doesn't.

Someone on this forum several years ago did a test where they put a copper cent and a zinc cent in the ground to compare how they decay. I would be interested to see how this coin circulates/decays over time as compared to a normal shiny quarter.

this thing honestly shines like any other brand new quarter,but the color is off,ill try to capture it
