I tried matching it up, but I don't see the double mintmark.

Edit - split serif on the mintmark.

Too bad the 6 took damage.

It does look to be an RPM with fairly strong notching on the serifs, but I don't have an extra couple of hours this morning to sort through the sites for a variety number (since it's a 1960D). Others that come along may be more familiar with this year to pinpoint an ID.

I've seen some also that I thought were LD/SD because of perceived separation on the date. If I remember correctly it was actually a small raised ridge following part of the contour of the numbers and determined to be Die Deterioration or a "metal flow" issue.

At first I thought it might have been (1960D-1DO-003) over at coppercoins, but there's nothing on the memorial that I saw. I've been looking around for a good while and can't come up with a match.

Looks like a D/D...not sure about the small/lg date...looks like the tail of the 9 got flattened out too...? But I can see some of what you see in the 1 and the top of the 9 with its thickening and spread...even the 0 to a lesser extent based on the photos...
Very nice coin...can't wait for others to reply.

Well that was a total pain haha.

I popped the lense off my actual microscope, stacked up a couple cents on each side of the coin, balanced the lense between the two stacks, and somehow got a half decent picture of the split serifs on the mintmark using an Ipad

Sorry about the blur and glare, but the magnification is MUCH better than using the Ipad and a jewelers loupe.

There are over 200 RPMs for this year. It could be one of them, it could be an unlisted one. Who knows.

I was just going through them at the coppercoins site. there's at least 40-50 that look similar.
