I came across the same year of dime dime heres mine......(find it to odd theres 2 dimes with same damages or errors) also I see a few different things like on the back theres an extra dot right by the letter E in one

Those two dimes are 20 years old and from different mints. I am not surprised that they both have gone through a lot and end up where they are. Both are damaged coins.
