As I'm going through this box of Lincoln cents, many of these look the same way.

It looks like heavily "deeper" stuck on the obverse, almost as if it's a proof coin. If I place my thumb over the back, it feels like it's slightly indented.

It has a thicker rim, more sharp and squared, like proof coin would, except that they don't have the mirror shine like a proof coin.

Is there a difference between uncirculated and business strikes, or by some really small chance, do I have almost half a box of proof coins?

It's not a Dryer Coin, I've already compared them.

All of the rims on these coins look like this one.

I'd say it was an early strike off of the dies, circulated a bit. A solid candidate for the Whitman or Dansco. Rim Fin in the second photo would be correct.

What causes the Rim Fin? Is it because it was stuck slightly off center?
