Need Your Help, 1970-S Small Date And Floating Roof?

Johnboyrox New Member United States 30 Posts	Posted 08/26/2020 10:41 am They look like large dates to me. The easiest way to tell the small date is the size of the 7 vs the size of the 0. The top and the bottom of the 7 should be level with the 0. the large date 7 sinks lower in comparison to the tops of the 9 and the 0 and the tail is noticeably lower than the bottom of the 0. Even on ebay actions where they like to angle the images, you can always tell: They are actually to different designs: Note the inside curl of the '9'? That is the difference that is easy to see: The curl and the location of the lower part of the '7'. Hope this helps. The floating roof is just an die event, where dies get over polished.
