1957 D Lincoln Wheat Penny - 2 Die Chip Questions?

Hi guys,

I have this 1957 D Lincoln Wheat penny and notice that the "9' in 1957 is filled in. Is this considered a die chip even though it's not really a chip of metal like you usually see?

I also see that there is a piece of metal off the back of Lincoln's head under the "O" in God. Is this also considered a die chip? If so, is this an unusual place for a die chip?

Yes, the 9 is considered a chip. The anomaly on the back of his head looks more like a hit.
