Hi, I have this 1944s War Nickel, appears to be Full Steps and in pretty good condition...Not really sure about a lamination, (wishful thinking) or maybe damaged.

Take the coin out of the holder first. Show pics of the entire coin first. Then zoom in on the area in question. I don't think it's lamination. Looks more like damage or some type of struck thru. I don't see full steps.
