I think this one is actually a Blanca, though I could be wrong.

Thanks. The design matches but the blanca is listed as 1.0 grams.

OK, @Gincoin43, that is useful information. I find that in general the base-metal coins of this period are not well-documented in the literature.

I agree, and even less in English, they are still documenting varieties. The symbol to the left is a patriarchal cross and is the mark of the official Pedro Roman, who worked from 1558 to 1576 in Cuenca, so it can't be later than Felipe II. The monogram means it has to be a Philip and I don't believe he had any 1 Maravedi with a monogram(here is where I am unsure) so that would leave a Blanca from Cuenca.

Those "blancas" started by a law on 14th December 1566, and started in Cuenca circa 1568, so you can date it between 1568 and 1576

A "blanca" was equivalent to 1/2 maravedí.
