Does it look like it was made that way or does it just look like damaging? There are other parts that look like a hot butter knife went through some butter. Spence Moderator United States 34430 Posts	Posted 08/30/2020 08:15 am @lara, with all of the other gouges from circulation on this coin, I'm leaning toward damage that took out the letter S in TRUST. However, that wavy surface texture is very similar to a lamination error as noted by @john1.
