Just wanted to know if any of y'all have seen this kind of coin before. It looks weird to me and I can't make out the date. Idk if it's a 1940/46 penny? Thank you for your feedback! Have a loverly day!

Yes likely it took a bath in acid. Often times, this will cause the coin to be slightly underweight.

On this one, note the full rim. Acid alters the rim. Acid also reduces the weight.

I'm guessing this one is one that was heated with a torch.

If so the weight will be close to normal. The longer the torch is applied, the stronger the alteration appears.

You'll get better at your coin photography as you go along. Next time, increase the size of your photos and make sure they're sharp, please. And crop them to the very edges of your coin. Thanks!
