Can anyone help me out with determining the value of this note?

1957 Silver * Note
Gem New 66PPQ

Not sure what the value is but I cant see it being more then $75 or so.
Any info would be appreciated.

Bowers and Merena have a PCGS 67PPQ at auction estimated at $75 to $125 but it did not sell. Meanwhile, the Red Book for U.S. Paper Money lists a 63Unc at $15. Is it one you are looking at buying or do you already own it? If I were in the market for one I'd probably look to spend around $30-$35 on it.

I agree. 57s are just far too common for good money.
It was the last issue of the silver certificate, so
they were kept in huge quantities. Kinda like the 76
quarter. So many people kept them, that the values
can't increase. The star is the only redeeming detail.
