Can anyone help me identify this ancient coin and tell me what it might be worth? It was in a really old 2x2 holder and marked "Maroneia 400-350BC" but when I tried searching for that, it didn't show the same coin. The horse on it looked similar, but I couldn't find any that had the same head on the other side. I searched for hours and I think it may be some kind of "Kings of Numidia. Micipsa" coin but I couldn't figure out what variety it was or it's value. The coin measures 26mm in diameter, 3.5mm thick and weighs 15.5g

Thanks for the reply and link. I went there but couldn't see any prices after registering because it needed a paid membership to see that info. At least I know what kind of coin they are. Would anyone happen to be able to identify exactly which type this one is that I have. That site didn't seem to show an exact match that I saw and I wasn't sure on ebay either. It seemed like mine has the mark below the horse but it further forward than what I see on most of them. Then when I see that make that looks about in the right place, the back side of the horse doesn't seem to look as curved up as much as mine or the front legs just don't look right. I'm just having a hard time pinning down exactly what type it is. Ancient coins aren't something I really collect but thought this one looked cool and I got it cheap so identifying it it a little harder than I thought.

The variations you describe are typical for ancients within particular series. No two ancient dies are identical. For prices, use the "Research Sold Items" tool at CNG.com. Search on " Micipsa". On the results page, be sure to click on The Coin Shop, eAuctions, and Feature Auctions sections at the top. CNG results include sale prices.
