Picture of the whole coin and obverse and reverse please. Depends what the reverse design is to determine what might be Goin on here as well as the rest of the front.

Edge picture would be helpful to tell of it is plated or not.

Looks like another design from the reverse of a State Quarter is on the front. That looks like ripples of water. I forget what that error is called.

It appears that it was altered. But it not a doubled die. So Not sure if it was heated slightly. The reverse looks like a different color on the 4th image?

The coin is one color. My phone camera sucks. Hard to get a really clear picture. How can you tell if it was altered?
