panzaldi Bedrock of the Community United States 18654 Posts	Posted 09/01/2020 2:47 pm would you use the CDN greysheet CPG values to determine prices to sell your coins? if not is there a percentage of the value that would be a decent price that you would have felt you got a good deal and the purchaser got a good deal? 70% maybe? I understand dealers will pay about 50% retail if not would you go with PCGS prices guide, numismedia, sales on ebay or all of the above and kind of average them out? Report this Post to the Staff

If on ebay, just use what ever is already used on ebay for prices only attempt to go a bit lower so they sell. However, remember ebay is mostly for bidding so you could loose out. oriole Pillar of the Community Canada 5239 Posts	Posted 09/01/2020 6:24 pm Dealers will certainly not pay 50% retail for every coin. So that depends on the coin. Even certified high grade modern Canadian decimal is tough to sell. Modern mint products are tough to sell. My LCS has resorted to selling a lot of the modern mint silver at bullion prices, now that the price of silver has jumped. Report this Post to the Staff

Dealers will pay less for stuff that they have have a lot of (proof sets, mint sets, commems, Wheat Cents, Buffalo nickels, etc.). However, if you have a few really nice coins or coins that the dealer can sell easily, the dealer should offer more. Report this Post to the Staff
