The egdenicks on the reverse don´t bother me that much but some of you might detail it. Really hard to get a good picture of this tiny thing but hopefully they are good enough for you to give me your opinion. Jaobler Pillar of the Community United States 6394 Posts	Posted 09/05/2020 08:27 am Looks like a pretty nice coin and I don't think the nicks on the rim will cause a details grade. Hard to see luster in these images but I don't see any wear. It could grade MS-62. Report this Post to the Staff

panzaldi Bedrock of the Community United States 18687 Posts	Posted 09/05/2020 10:01 am was this a scan? if so, it may not be showing the actual fields and may not be as grainy as the photos show. better photos without overhead light may help give a better assessment. I thinks its MS. depending on the surfaces anywhere between MS62 and MS64. the rims are a non-issue in my mind Report this Post to the Staff

As you can see I wasn´t able to hold the camera steady enough to get the photos fully sharp but they show the coin in a different lightsetting. These are with daylight from a window as lightsource: These are taken without a direct lightsource: I have a question regarding TPG: Is there any difference in NGC/PCGS regarding gold coin grading? Since I´m inexperienced with gold coins I would rather have a propriate (conservative) grade on this coin than sending it in to get the highest grade as possible. Also, wich of PCGS/NGC brings the higher premium if the coin got the same grade from both TPG? /denkan Report this Post to the Staff
panzaldi Bedrock of the Community United States 18687 Posts	Posted 09/06/2020 12:27 pm the last photos give a decent look at the surfaces. the rim nick on the reverse is a pretty good hit. not sure what affect this would have. the coin surfaces appear dull similar to a light cleaning. I still think the coin is MS and would put it in the MS63 area. it may grade straight but due to the overall look I would not pay MS63 money. it has a 50/50 chance of receiving a details designation Report this Post to the Staff
