Subtle widening but a nice find. Well done!

Nice one! A lot of these underrated double dies are actually quite scarce.

In hand John1 the notching on the bottom right leg on the R sticks out. For some reason my new iPhone doesn't take as sharp pictures as my old iPhone. It is the DDO-001

@TropicalBats is it a toughie because it's scarce or because it's the only known doubled die for 1986 and not a lot of people look for it, I wonder? The Ridge Ring suggests there must be a good number of these out there

SamCoin, there are actually three 1986 O DDO's on Variety Vista's site. Not counting Wexler's or Coppercoins. I think why it is a tough variety to find is that there may not be a ton of these things out there. I may be wrong but the die was not far from being removed due to Die Deterioration hence not a lot of them.

@Jim, good point. I forgot that this is one of the few zincolns for which VV actually has more listings than Wexler. That said, wouldn't Die Deterioration be a sign of significant die use? That should mean a lot of coins were minted with this obverse die, no?

Sam, I would think there would have to be.
