Hello to all..I am new to coin collecting got into it when I found a error penny that was neat, now I have about 5 error coins from us and canada but never new if they were worth anything. The one I'm wondering about is a 1947 maple leaf penny that whem the date is level, kings head look straight up is that kind of error rare or what. I also have a us penny with blob of extra metal on word GOD and us quarter with extra metal on word WE, One clipped and one blank planchet.

Welcome again!
Regarding your 1947 ML cent, that's quite a die rotation, also known as "rotated die error".
That sounds about 90 degrees--which is significant. The other coins with the blobs of metal sound like die chips. It would be great to see any photos you might have.

Your camera should have a 'close up' setting. use that setting. Mine as a medium and extra close settings. check your manual. also stabilize the camera. Tripod?
There is an excellent picture taking forum here.
Can't wait to start seeing 'em

Every camera has a minimum focusing distance, and some have a special macro setting. Look in your manual on how to set your camera to "macro", and use a tripod and as small aperture as possible at the minimum distance. I usually shot at f25-f29 with a remote. Of course, I get technical with photos, but I'm sure if you play around you'll find something that works for you.
