Ok so this Coin has been on my desk several months. Completely flat edge quarter appears wider rimmed, is same diameter, and weighs pretty mush same as a normal quarter at 5.71 grams.

I don't think it is Broadstruck error because coin is same diameter as the reference coin, But is thicker too.

Is this just machine wear or filing down the edges? Some areas do seem to show traces of the reeding under magnification.

I agree not broadstruck but rather just damage. It may be an early stage Dryer Coin.

that it's just damage. I think the edge has been modified or "spooned," but I don't think it's a Dryer Coin because none of the high points seem to be damaged.
