Good Day.
I have been debating weather I should sent this coin out for grading. The spot on the reverse discourages me, but after seeing a few spotty graded ones, I have decided to ask the pros.
Thanks CC.

What does the edge look like? If genuine it would need to grade at least MS 66 and I don't think it makes a 66.

If nothing else, it would look great in a high(er) grade Dansco album--provided the coin isn't a 'good quality' re-plating.

How about posting a couple photos with subdued or filtered lighting?

Too much flashback for me to get a good sense of the surfaces on your coin.

Too much light, hard to grade.

In general, it's cheaper to buy a slabbed 1943 than to have one slabbed.

its a keeper. nicely struck with good luster. too much overhead lighting so some of the surfaces are washed out but I think it might make MS66. you need to come in at MS67 to be worth sending in and I dont see it at that level

I agree with not sending it in. There are shipping, insurance, handling, etc fees involved in that.
If you want an MS66 cent, buy one.

@panzalsi
@okiepb....the only reason I dont see it as a 66, is because of the one I spotted on ebay as a 66, pretty worn. (image above).
