Hi, I collect Polish 3 groschen coins.
Are there people here who also collect such coins?
I will gladly buy it.

I have some in my collection.

There are many for sale on ebay, and at auction houses which you are probably familiar with (WCN, Niemczyk, RDA, Marciniak, Wojcicki, NumisBalt, and WAG which often has large lots of trojaks for sale).

Good luck!

I don't collect them, but I do have one fake and one genuine. The silver wash has been worn off the fake leaving the base metal.

Very interesting. I think that was likely a circulating counterfeit.

Yes it was made back in the day.
Contemporary counterfeits are what I enjoy collecting most but I have other kinds of deceptions too.

Iger has cataloged many of the contemporary counterfeits of Poland 3 groschen coins from the reign of Sigismund III (coins from 1588-1624): http://iger.wcn.pl/coins?type=259

However, I think there are also some that are not yet cataloged. I have looked at this coin and wondered about it after researching the options for 1600, 1606, etc (It is certainly not 1620): https://www.ebay.com/itm/POLAND-Sig...AOSw3OhclVRt
