OK...I have several questionable nickels..I will be posting the others in a few minutes..My uncle had this one marked as a 1942 D/D... I kind of see it? I'm not sure though..
On a RPM the devices will be enlarged more than the normal size of the mintmarks. Also you should be a spread between the punches. Just being enlarged doesn't make it a RPM, the spread needs to be present.
