1883? The date is in roman numerals, behind the queen.

More likely to be 1873. The date definitely ends in III and before that is XX, but there is also a die number under the bust, and these only appear on florins between 1864 and 1879.
In that condition it is close to melt value only, although many new collectors are happy to have them even then as examples of a wonderfully designed coin. Some dates are much scarcer - 1872 and 1873 probably turn up more often than any other.

Agree with above, Sofia, you have a LOT of "Help me" type threads here, perhaps I recommend reading a book on British coins, say Seaby's catalogue or at least the Coin Year Book. You are the UK and no doubt this should be easy.
I am also assuming you have a reasonable command of the English language.
We have no issue helping you, but after 6 or 7 threads its tiresome.

He's not exactly bamboozling us - two were created recently and the last one before that was July! While I agree that it might be sensible to invest in a book I don't think that telling people, in effect, to go away is equally the sort of attitude we ought to strive for as a community. Also with the range of coins posted, it might need to be a couple of books and perhaps Sofia can't afford this at the moment. I don't feel like "we'll help you, but only until we decide we've had enough and tell you to shove off" is a very friendly attitude...

I have no problem helping with any number of reasonable enquiries - provided they are genuine, not repetitive and some gratitude is shown, which Sofia has always done. (There have been other enquirers who have given no acknowledgment to the efforts put in on their behalf, and they really are not welcome.)
A copy of the Spink annual "Coins of England" will cover most of your enquiries - you don't even really need an up to date issue. Any in the last 10 years would do and these can often be picked up second hand.

I might have asked for guidance more than the usual member, but, as collector28 very well puts it, isn't't this one of the purposes of this community? If everybody's an expert and there's no more things to learn and no more help or guidance to offer, wouldn't it then become an echo chamber? And even though I'm keen to learn about coins as much as I can, I probably will still need guidance, even AFTER purchasing those books...and if two threads in three months is cumbersome for some, then I do apologise.
But the users who might find this too much needn't feel obliged to help or indeed reprimand someone who is keen to learn.

I thank both PaddyB and Collector28 (and all members) of the community who help and have helped me in the past, it's thanks to these kind of attitudes that my interest and passion with coins has gone from strength to strength. I even purchased a metal detector a couple of months ago.

I myself rarely have the most recent copy of any guide or reference. Sofia you ask what you need to ask in order to get an answer. This is a case where buying a book is not necessary - CCF members are always ready to help out.
I have well over 100 specialist numismatic books to help me, but quite often a CCF answer is the best, and often comes with a detailed background.
I prefer the family of the CCF anyway. Especially in CV-19 times.
Two reasons why the CCF is so popular.
I agree with PaddyB, and his reasons. 1873 looks right to me also.
