1881 Coins Proof Or Uncirculated? - Coin Community Forum

EDM Valued Member United States 292 Posts	Posted 09/19/2020 11:22 pm I inherited a set of three coins from 1881, an Indian Head cent, Three Cent Nickel, and a Shield nickel. How do you tell whether they are proof coins or uncirculated? I would be glad to post photos of them. To me, they look stunning enough to be proofs but how does one determine this?
