Hi, was hoping someone here on the community might be able to help me identify the countermark on this 1782 Peru 1R. I understand there might not be a story beyond "random stamp", but I know there is enough in the history of Colonial American pieces to think there is a chance it's identifiable :)

I believe this piece surfaced recently on ebay. It appears to just be a random punchmark - not Oriental... nothing identifiably Caribbean.
