My PCGS app says a normal 1965 penny, while high mintage, is rarely in MS67 and would be in the $400 range...i know MS ratings are something I need to apply for, but is this coin even worth it? *** Moved by Staff to a more appropriate forum. ***

Too many spots to garner a grade higher than 64 in my opinion.

This is the usual weak strike 1965 Lincoln Cent . With obverse spots , reverse hits . Possible die break on reverse between America and Cent . MS-62-63 .

I'll say MS-63, spotting detracts. to the CCF!

Going with MS64. Nice die crack on the reverse. Very 2x2 worthy, strong hole filler.

the eye appeal, abrasions, nicks and spotting on both sides I cant see this more than 63 probably RB due to the reverse

Might squeeze into MS64, regardless, not worth it.

Is there a doubling on the forehead and on the lips or it is just my eyes playing tricks on me? looks like Abe is crying too.

The spots are distracting to me and on the reverse the same goes for the field blemish along with what appears to be a scratch or cut.
