Hi I found a 1974 philadelphia mint quarter and it looks as if the date has been struck twice and with different fonts. I know that early quarters have a different font then newer quarters but I have never seen anything quite like this and I need help. Is this valuable and is this rare? Someone please help!

I think it's just circulation damage. The numbers have taken a few hits and have been flattened. Just Post Strike Damage, PSD

@sam, first welcome to CCF. Second, sorry but I agree that your quarter has taken some hits in circulation which have transform the number 4 in the date. It is only worth face value.
