Quote: Evident wear on eagle's breast - AU-50 sounds about right. If your calling that area wear ( which I'm not ), then it should be AU-58 . My AU-50 Coin would look like crap compared to this WLH.

these look like scans and the graininess is not conducive for determining surface originality, luster or any wear. if the graininess is actually what the coin looks like then I'm at AU58

Altered the Pic only in terms of size and lighting . It's very smooth with lots of toning. Little wear

Quote: Altered the Pic only in terms of size and lighting I'm assuming that this was a scan. scans are not the best to grade from and altering the lighting too much doesn't help. its camouflaging the look to the point where softer struck areas could be construed as wear. the coin may be MS. if you would like a more accurate grade make the changes to the photos and reload. I do think its a nice coin albeit common

Tough image to grade from, but I'll say MS-63. The flattening on the eagle's breast might just be strike.

This was taken by my Dino-lite AM3111 Microscope. I paid $200 plus stand $49.99. I'm still learning on it though . I also had AU-50 but I'll take higher
