This was found by my father in an old shed in Australia in the mid-1960s. Looks very worn. Around the edge it says 'Payable in Anglesey or London'. Would appreciate any info.
The weight would determine if it was a penny or a half-penny.
Quite fascinating how it got to Australia and was punched presumably decades later. Why and the significance of the date are almost certainly lost in the mists of history.
