Pocket Change 1997 P Quarter Dollar Crack On Obverse And Reverse

Got this Quarter in pocket change and it has a crack from edge to edge on the reverse and what appears to be a crack on the obverse. These cracks look like planchet errors but not sure. Part of the plating is missing also.

Also, looks like some sort of gunk on the quarter, my guess would be gum or something like that but not sure. Tried soak in acetone to loosen it up but it's not coming off.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Looks like the coin was cut with a razor. Note the trench. On a die crack the whole area would be raised, without the trench. (usually a flat trench)

Note the moved debris of the trench makes a raised area on each side of the damaged area? That is what I'm seeing on your coin.

I knew it wasn't a die crack just thought it might be a defective planchet.
