Yeah , Etsy looks "sketchy" , Very Very high prices ! Stay the *** Edited by Staff | The bad word filter is in place for a reason. Bypassing the filter and making the intended word obvious anyway is completely unacceptable. *** away.My opinion.
Update: I just read a zillion reviews. Etsy has plenty of Scammer sellers . Buyer beware. Doesn't take care of its customers etc. etc.

I suppose selling there could be okay, but I highly recommend not buying coins on Etsy. There are other places to buy online that would be much safer.

My recommendation on Etsy is: Do Not Buy Coins There and if you have a conscious, don't sell coins there either.

Well all I can say is : If you have to thread lightly on e-Bay , then you must thread heavily on Etsy . Heard too many bad stories about that place .

Actually we do very well selling coins on Etsy . We use a slightly different
Business model on Etsy than we do on ebay . We sell small lots of coins
Both world and USA and price them competitively . We offer 14 day return
just as we do on ebay and have had no issues. The customer base on
Etsy is different than that of ebay . Many customers on Etsy are women
and they buy some of the lots for jewellery making and crafting rather than
numismatic reasons .
Overall I would consider our experience to be a positive rather than a negative one .

As with buying/selling anything online it's buyer/seller beware because a lot of things can go wrong!

Do your homework! Don't jump in the pool until you know how deep the water is.

I took a look at Etsy recently and was thinking along the lines of Pacificoin above; small lots appropriately priced (subjective definition) for folks making jewelry/crafts makes sense. However, those rare common date Morgans for $30k make you wanna scratch a hole through your head aside from the humor.
