It reminds me of coins from Nepal or Tibet. Someone more familiar with those places should be able to help.

It's a modern day fake of a Chinese coin.
Can you provide better clear pictures?
It's an imitation of what may be Kirin Province, 3 Mace, 1884.
Oh, if you can get better pictures, it's best if both images are not upside down.

Spence- not the same coin but it points the OP in the right direction.
The OP coin is Y# 170 or 170.1 imitation. Could be one of the Kann 918's.
The link provided is Y# 172. Could be one of the Kann 916's.
